FEATURES

The model features a front with a rectangular lens compartment and metal temples ending in a plasticized finish. It represents a cult of the famous Pilot style , celebrated in dozens of auteur films of world cinema, but which above all has influenced eyewear fashion since its beginnings. Still these glasses represent an almost essential must-have of the fashion scene, imbued with a unique and genuine vintage taste. The frame is in metal, with photochromic lenses (UV400 - cat.0 in the initial light state and cat.3 in the darker state after light exposure) in glass. Standard size for adults and young people, therefore suitable for most faces.

TECHNICAL NOTES AND CARE

Photochromic lenses are lenses that, when exposed to UV radiation or sunlight in general, make a transition: in fact, they initiate a reversible chemical reaction and darken. Once the irradiation of light or uv rays disappears, they gradually return to the initial state of transparency. These lenses protect against UV rays and solar glare like sunglasses, although they cannot replace them in all situations.
We recommend not to leave the glasses with the lenses facing down and not to store them without the case. Avoid keeping them very long in places exposed to high temperatures.
